Excavated this one because I have an inlet manifold and a spacer and a throttle cable plate and a carb but when all are sandwiched together, the progressive butterfly spindle arm still fould the inlet manifold..

Plate next to carb but the problem is there arent enough things to sit the carb far enough away from the manifold, so order does not affect my predicament? It is a converted NA carb. any chance they have an incorrectly shaped throttle arm thing? |

Mine also fouled on first installation, but I am a born bodger so I "eased" the manifold a little and got about 10 thou clearance, which is enough, isn,t it ?. |

Yes, I used a Montego carb and the progressive spindle fouled the manifold with all the spacers in the right place.

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |
