Bit of a long shot but was just wondering if anyone has fitted a new loom to an 89 onwards car, just need to work out which wires go to which when connecting to the rear loom and it would save me a lot of time if someone had already done it. Cheers :)

Just match the colours like for like, job done The rear loom connects to the front by the wiper motor.

Thats the problem none of the colours are the same, if only lol

They should all be the same - bar one which is a green that matches to a slightly different green with a tracer colour... Or at least this is how i remember it LOL!

You probably have stained wiring. If you take a blade and gently scrape the surface of the insulation, the real colour shines through.

The loom was from autosparks if that makes a difference, will give it a go when i get home, cheers

If both looms are for the same age of car they should match identically. If you have two differnet 'ages' of looms there may be some differences but not many.
Post up colours from each half and we could go from there!
