The turbo plenum is a neat way to do it. All you need then is a bit of flexi hose and a unversial K&N (which you could reuse on the turbo cnversion!) |

i used the plastic air feed pipnig from unger the wing as a cold air feeds it worked ok but probably not as well as a front mount air filter or ram air box like the miglias. Drives

The turbo plenum has a restrictor though so this would need to be a stub stack for NA applications.

A stub stack is like a really short trumpet at the mouth of the carb that has a neat radius that, in short, smooths airflow into the carb mouth. It's in the 3rd edition of Vizards book, page 57 onwards. The air filter setup that's in it is not longer available but it wouldn't be too hard to knock one up. And I am wrong, it has a plenum actually! On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:
