Hi guys, not so long ago, i took a look at Curleys site : www.curleygrp.com - several e-mails were sent reguarding products that i was after.

after finally getting some money together to put into the mini project, i was disappointed to find that their site now no longer works. I was intending to spend around £800 - £1000 on some carbon fibre panels.

does anyone know of any way i would be able to contact them??

Many thanks in advance.

Also, if they do not exist anymore, can anyone suggest a decent company that makes carbon fibre panels? imparticular im after a clubman bonnet, door cards, rear valance, battery box, boot lid - all of which Curley were producing.

Not sure, I'm still waiting from a few parts I've ordered from ABS and they are having trouble getting hold of Mr Curley as well.

thanks guys. managed to find a few people manufacturing carbon parts for mini's that i hadn't found before. Also found a few companies that take mouldings of your original panel, and you can have it made in carbon fibre.

once i have ordered after christmas i will have to let you know if they were of a good quality.

Whats the quality of the parts form TDK? The prices seem to be really reasonable!

Dont realy want to say owt bad about dave tdk hes a top bloke but i think the quality of his bits are reflected in price. Think it depends what you want them for, if its just for weight then there brilliant but they will never be concourse.

I've got to be honest, I'm not overly impressed with the quaility of curleys stuff either. Ok for a race car, but not a road car.

if you meen the finish Rick, thats true , but as i found out the doors fit as did the rest of the stuff, and by the time youv'e fettled it all for painting all the rough edges will be gone, the doors i got of TDK were a lot better fit and finish than more expensive items from elsewhere.

dave kimberly gets my vote, no need to look further.

Aye, I'm with FastCarl on this one. Brilliant bloke to do business with, got a grp front end off him and while it needs a bit of work fettling etc it is bloody close (a damn site closer than others I've seen). Dave Kimberly also gets my vote.

There is no sense crying over every mistake- you just keep on trying til you run out of cake.

I have also had plenty of parts from TDK. Nice bloke and the products are great value for money. They always need a bit of finishing, but so do everybody elses.

Nice! i think il be getting some doors and a bonnet from him in future. most f/g parts you get need work anyway but as long as its not too bad a fit then great.

My Curley Bumpers arrived on Friday, so it looks like he's making parts again.
