Hi Gavin, in total I have used about half of a 15kg reel, but I have replaced every panel on the car from the bottom of the windscreen. In hindsight it would have been easier and cheeper to buy a new shell but I had already started so may as well finish! Also it is much stronger than a standard shell as everything is stitch welded now. |

Im hoping its gonna be pretty rigid. I decided to stitch it rather than seem weld it as I read that a continuous seam can crack fairly easily. As for its use, not really sure yet, probably some track days, hillclimbs and a bit of tarmac terrorism! |

The main hoop and front legs were ordered from fabricage but all the rest I just did myself. The tube was from berkley and mattheson in nottingham but I know they sourced it from somewhere else cos I was waiting for ages for it! |
