Anyone had this problem before? Got a slight judder in the clutch from it. A mate of mine questioned if it was hard spots in the steel??

It doesn't clean off with solvent or light paper.

Is it scrap or ??

Thanks for any ideas,

Nick.

Hi,
Those are heat spots.
They could be caused by the clutch dragging.
Does it still feel flat / smooth?
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Yes it does feel flat to the touch... not measured it though. Never had a problem with it getting gears...

yes it is fairly new... less than 500 miles.

I'll change the plate and give it a go. The judder wasn't excessive just didn't want it to get any worse.

Thanks for the comments.

Nick.
