Shropshire.

Hi,

just bought myself a gearbox but wont be able to fit it for a few months, is there anything specific i should do before or during storage to keep it in good condition?

Hi,
Slop a load of oil all over the gears and bearings, stick it in a big thick plastic bag. Keep it in a dry place.

I don't like plastic bags. You could end up with some condense. Mych better to leave it in some old bead spreads or big towels in a tempered place.
