Facinating. But how much carbon based fuels are burned to compress the air or to generate electricity to conpress the air? I'm sure less than what would be needed to run the car at 68mph for 120miles or they wouldn't be building it but I still want to know.

I like hydrogen! Electric is OK but again the whole burning fossil fuels to generate zap to run a car that doesn't need fossil fuels. Again I am sure less CO2 is produced converting fuel -> zap -> motion rather than direct from fuel -> motion but I wonder how much less?

Unless they create the leccy or compress the gas using hydrogen power stations in the 1st place!

as someone with a fair understanding of compressed air, i wonder why they cant run a secondary compressor from the driveshaft to produce a supply to refill the tanks whilst in motion. that is a lot of pressure too. approx 300bar. we have 4000psi hydraulics where i work and when they let go if a pipe blows, they really are dangerous. would like to see what ncap test this has to endure!!!!!

be like letting go of a baloon and it whizzing about the place!!

balls to the blower!!!

Hi,
You could crack the ton if you stick a rear facing outlet from the tank! :)
Cheers,
Gavin :)
