Hi,

I never know where to post these questions - it's not turbo so "help needed" seemed most appropriate.

Any way - anyone ever tried fitting 185/60 13s? I reckon they'll roll almost 10% further than a 175/50 13 (i.e. doing 76.5mph where a 175/50 would be 70mph for the same revs) but with 7" Starmags 175's are right on their limit.

I know Dunlop do a 195/45 (=70mph) but they're more expensive than the rather pimpy (185/60) A048 or Toyo 888.

But the question really is - anybody got experience of fitting them, cutting front wings is necessary anyway (new f/g front) but I don't fancy messing with (i.e. welding) the rears.

Cheers, Dave.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

Think ERA's had 165/60 which is what ive got on my metro on 13x6 rev rfx's. They fit great but not sure about on a 7 incher. Id got for 175/50, had em on my mini on 7's and although a bit of a stretch there's quite a good choice in that size.

Btw you can get 175/50's on and 8 inch wide rim *laughing* but it aint pretty
