I would second that. Def' rings I'm stupid Ive A fiesta with most of the bits to make my megajolt thingy. Thick or what!!!! OHHHHH and ive got a metro for free !!!!! Metros have become rare over here!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking that, but the temp and pressure remains the same, no real movement. thats what puzzled me, plus it still goes like sh*t. |

Both times I took my ring lands out that was the symptoms, not much at idle, gets worse as the revs go up and will only blow smoke out of the exhaust after a long period of idle, otherwise not a great deal out of the exhaust.. I would do a compression check as rings are the most likely suspect....

also my old one did when them stupid cheaper kn style oil breather got blocked i removed them and hey presto it stopped always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |

I had the same and I thought my rings were shot for ages. But it turned out that my head gasket had blown where it wasn't torqued up enough.

had the same, headgasket had gone! This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting. |

Pull the head and inspect. Check the gasket. If that looks okay, you know that it will most probably be the rings.

still ckeck all breathers first and remove any breather top cap filters too.
always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |
