well after a torrid year, the hogs heart is back in again and snorting well.

managed to get the piston ring saga sort of sorted so we will see..

gor those who didnt know the mega ring pack supplied with pistons were to small so gaps were to large, eg comp ring gap 20 thou oil control cast type 50 thou.

after a lot of twating around got it sorted so have 14 thou top 16 thou 2nd and all though 40 thou the oil control is th rail type so being 120 apart for top and bottom rail things should be ok.

but time will tell.

AE need to get there act together as things still aint spot on for my licking supplied ring should be in the 12 thou region.

any way thanks do have to go to gav and gary at minispares for there help, i just hope with them and keith they can get AE to sort the problem and also thanks to peter and simon at hose advice buy st edmunds for the intake hose , i did get for free in the end as the courier lost the original.

best i take them over some cod.
