My Dad wants some new shocks for his mini, he's tight as fu** any recomendation on what to get, he doesn't really want anything adjustable, it's just a standard clubby estate,

The KYB ones cheaply available are supposed to be OK, other than that we used to run "Gabriel Red Ryder" shockers on the class one cars (not allowed adjustables) they are sold by Min-its as a heavy duty shocker, about 12 quid a piece last time I looked.

Im pretty sure I have a standard set that I took off mine mate, very low mileage... I'll have a dig later see if I can find em

i am goign to be using kyb self adjustable shocks on my turbo they adjust to your driving style, i personally think they are very good. or get Gmax they are pap and like standard just yellow :)
