Anyone know owt about this unit yet?
I was going to spill some money for a LM1 and all the other bits, but this new unit looks to have the RPM signal and dual-wideband capability from the outset...

From links I've found so far, the single-sensor unit is circa $400 and the dual-sensor is circa $550.

I can't find anything more however? Guess I'll wait a little longer, just to see what will come out in the not-too-distant future...

Anyone know anything else? Had a search on the innovate forum, but that didn't seem to give much anything.

That looks the dogs.

I'm currently using an LC-1, an LM-1 and a LMA-3 to give me just those signals. Although the LCA-3 can do four more as well.

LM-2 Update!

There's good news and bad news about our forthcoming LM-2 Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Meter. The bad news is that it is delayed. We expect to continue development and validation through February & March, with full production starting shortly thereafter. The good news is that we are getting great response as far as new features of the LM-2. We are accepting pre-sales from our authorized resellers. MSRP will be slightly higher than originally expected. The LM-2 is going to be available for $479 USD for the single channel wideband (P/N: 3806), and $669 USD for the dual channel wideband (P/N: 3807). The interface will support all known protocols, including enhanced parameters for most cars sold in the US since 1996. Stay tuned.

$699 is a whole lot of money.
I don't have an OBD2 code reader myself, so it'd help offset the cost, but right now i'm not so sure i want one anymore.

Wowee...

I just checked on the innovate forum to see if they had fully released the LM-2 yet - and they have. And it appears to be chock-full of bugs and glitches.

Whilst it looks like a great device, it also looks like it's worth waiting a year or so for them to make it worth investing a heap of money into.

I've been following this myself.

Innovate appear to be suffering some quality issues at the moment. It's not just the LM-2, there seems to be a bad batch of LC-1s about as well.

I'm very happy with all my Innovate stuff. Its had a lot of abuse but is holding up OK - Touch wood.

There do some to be a lot of complaints on the forums. I wonder how many people are happy and do not bother saying so on-line.

I think that the problem is that a lot of ham-fisted numpties buy this kit. They dont understand the first thing about electrics etc and then complain loudly when things go wrong.

Indeed - but reading the stuff on-line, It's clear that not as much work on the OBD2 and USB interface work was done in advance of release.

Does look nice though, you'd think that given the problems with the other units...they'd have the LM-2 well and truly sorted before selling it to people.

Dave, why not get the DL1 data logger from race technology and connect your AEM wide band to that, works a treat for me and will log everything from your DTA ecu

I have a Lc1 and has been working fine for a year, maybe a bit erractic but fairly copable! But it has recently stopped working, Its away for repair at the minute so will let you know when it comes back! The new bit of kit looks fancy lets hope they sort the problems!

Hi,
This is always the problem with code readers, even identical cars of the same year can have a different spec ECU, one your kit will talk to, one it won't :(
