Does anyone know what that resistor type device is behind the radiator?

Is it the dim-dip resistor to drop the voltage down from 12v to achieve the dim-dip sidelights?

If it is the dim dip resistor, they will do. They just won't work in dim-dip (e.g. sidelights on, ign ket turned on)

yup, iirc its the brown wire from the relay that goes to the dim-dip, at least thats the one i chopped back in the day when i had angel eyes to make em work properly. On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:
