Don't really know much about cooling systems, but are there any issues with placing the header tank here?

Obviously I'll need to move the wiper motor inside the car but that's hardly rocket science.

looks fine,

just get it up as high as practically poosible so any air in the system will find its way into it.

where'd it come from? i'll need one shortly.

Fantastic, hopefully I'll have some time to make some brackets tomorrow before I head off to France.

The tank was an ebay find, no idea who made it but it's rather nice.

Just found another one if you're interested:

Isle of Man

i couple of twats to the bulkhead with a bfh and my wiper motor could poke through the existing hole and line up with the rack no problems

not pretty, but cheap and easy

that chuffing steel tube that the runner thing lives in

Theres about 0.5mm clearance, and the slightest kink means the wipers wont work

i lost my temper with it big style

The chap I brought it off has another one for sale, so I'm guessing he makes them:

Just use a similar sized piec of copper pipe and flare the nut on one end. Much easier to bend*happy*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
