I was wondering if anyone could help me?
I recently purchased a T3 turbo and manifold for my mini cooper 1.3i(1994)

I have been told that this is not possible and the only way to go around this is to replace the injector with the original carb! The only problem that I see with this is that the Lamb sensor would need to be removed, but with this the ECU would not read correctly.

Would I need to remove the ECU as well and replace it with a Dizzy?

Please could you advise what you think would be the best way to go around this, as im really desperate to get the turbo fitted and start having some fun.

Hi,
Once you've put a carb on it you'll never pass an MOT emissions test!
About the only 2 chances you've got are

1. Megasquirt ECU and special (MPi type) code. This is currently under development, see the EFi section.

2. TBi injection, like SPi. I'm trying this and I don't know if it'll work or how long it's going to take *surprised*

Neither solution is going to be cheap or quick!
Cheers,
Gavin :)
