Where would i get a usb Connection for my megajolt as my laptops is to new and only has usb . I have an adapter but i cant get it to work right. was for connecting a gps to the computer.

I'm stupid Ive A fiesta with most of the bits to make my megajolt thingy. Thick or what!!!! OHHHHH and ive got a metro for free !!!!! Metros have become rare over here!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
It should work, the trick is setting up the com port number.
You need to set the com port on the usb adaptor to com5 for example, then set Megatune to com5 as well :)

I tryed that the usb adaptor is set at com 12 and says it working correctly. But the megajolt only goes up to com 10. So I can't set them the same. Can you change the adaptor com ?

Can you change the coms in the device manager.

when i used megajolt i used one of these comes with a driver disc

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Tryed tonight to get the laptop to link to the megajolt but with no luck. When i configure both coms to lets say com 9 the computer crashs. Think i have a faulty adaptor. tho it says this device is working correctly.

Might try a new adaptor this should be ok?

I can't see any reason why one make of adaptor would work and another wouldn't?
But then someone could well prove me wrong?

crashed again! so ive sorted it out put in the log burner cant see me having anymore trouble with it now!!!! It never did work right from the the start messed about alot.New one order!!!!!!!!
