Hey guys-

I just bought a Facet silver top electronic pump for my 1275 running an Eaton M45 sucking through an HIF 44. I'm also running an Avonbar 26cc stage 3 head and expecting about 6-8 psi of boost. I'm wondering if I will need a pressure regulator and a return line, or if I can just run the pump straight to the carb? Any thoughts?

I beleive that you can live without a pressure regulator and pump on a suck through.

Hi,
If your pump provides more than about 4 psi then you'll need to regulate it down to 3-4 psi.
On a Facet pump you could use an inline regulator which doesn't need a return pipe to the tank :)
Cheers,
Gavin :)
