I have wired up my megajolt and edis unit. I have turned the engine over and would not start. I am not getting a spark to the plugs. I have a 12v to the megajolt. what do i need to check to see if i am getting a live to the coil pack and then out again??

Pin 2 of the coil should have 12v power, but if there is no spark I would start at the VR sensor.. did you get it wired up the correct way round? one way works the other doesn't and its difficult to tell which is correct, most peeps end up trying it both ways until it works!

Hi,
You'll need power to the EDIS too *wink*
Best bet is to unplug the MJ and get it running on just the EDIS first, then check the timing, then refit the MJ :)

yes have power to the coil pack, had a spark when unpluged the mj then nothing. will try changing round the vr sensor. tomorrow is a new day with new challenges.

does it run just on the EDIS?

If not make it run on that 1st before you get the MJ on there.

you were right i have the vr sensor wires the wrong way round, now it is running just on the edis unit. now to sort the mj out he says chuckling to himself

Mine wont run just on the edis, wont even start up, i had to mess with the tuning first.
