Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Those of you that run a mirrage maniflod an T2 what centre section and rear box are you using? and to what affect? Have been reeding old posts on this and have found a very mixed view, the 3 im thinking are, maniflow, play mini, and rc40. What experience do you all ahve with them, any of them restrictive, have read rc40 limits to 120hp, this true?
Cheers
Shane

I can't see that any 2" exhaust will limit power to 120bhp. The 1 3/4" RC40 would probably become restrictive compared to a 2" system at 120bhp, but certinally not a limit.

I have the Maniflow system on the road car and it seems fine, although I have nowhere near 120bhp. The hillclimber has a bespoke 2" system with a small scilencer.

My personal choice would be the MAniflow as they are a proper exhaust manufacturer.

put it on not only is it a bit quieter it seems to go alot better too, weird.

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

The boring bloke who runs this place.

Berkshire

I don't use mirrage manifolds, but I really like my current maniflow exhaust - well made and easy to fit.
Cheap too

I used a sportex 2" DTM system with no centre box, mainly because it was fairly cheap and "over here"

I like the mounting, real easy and have no complaints. I don't have a CLUE what it sounds like because the SC drops drown everything else out!!

mine came from mini mine, it looks very similar to the play mini stuff

Although my 2" exhaust had a 1 3/4" tail pipe on it?
