Hey

Just got myself a Fiat Cinq radiator. Whats the best way to plumb it in. I'm gonna keep the original rad also. It gets hot here in the summer. And will the water pump be upto the task of the extra water?

thanks Everyone

two radiators wow thats quite alot! cant you go for a front mount radiator or something instead? Does TD have a problem with overheating over there? i know the guy that has my turbomini i sold him over there doesnt have a problem with just a standard mini radiator.

I have the same rad, its really efficient are ou sure you'd need 2 rads?

I'd plumb it so the head outlet goes to the top of the Cinq rad then the bottom of the Cinq rad to the top of the side rad (basically in series).

It gets up to about 95 F with high humidity and the side rad just cant keep it cool. Matty do you think the Fiat rad will cool it on its own. I would like to get away with just one radiator, I just wasnt sure it will handle it.

Thanks guys.

Hi,.
You should be ok with just the front mount, newer rads are more efficient and being in direct air flow will help too :)
An MPi rad will keep a 2.0T vauxhall engine cool apparently....
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I dont think these boys appreciate just how bloody hot and humid it gets here!!!

Run both of them, cant hurt as long as you keep the thermostat...

I have a 13-row oil cooler as an aux rad which just about keeps up but at idle its on the limits. I'm just working on a great big electric fan to help with that..

The only thing with running 2 rads is the cold air from the front rad won't be so cold when t reaches the second. Lol

I know the climate here is ALOT cooler but it really is an efficient rad...are you still running a heater?

No there is no heater. I really would like to eliminate the mini radiator but not sure if the Fiat one can handle it.
