Aberdeenshire, scotland.

Just finished rebuilding my carb and im about to bolt the plenum back on and the carb to the manifold. However, the brown gaskets in the piccy below, the diameter of the hole is too small, am i meant to tear out the perforated bit so that its bigger? And where do these two gaskets go?



Any help much appreticated.

Yes I think you will need the bigger hole, I din't fancy them ones so bought proper sized gaskets instead.. Easy when my best mate owns a parts store!!

There should be a metal plate that holds the throttle and choke cables sandwiched between the carb and manifold, one gasket each side of the plate.

Yeah, they are a bit dodgy but oh well. They are in now.lol

Cheers, got the plate in too and a spacer with an intlet for me dumpvalve.*happy*

If you have the cable bracket and a spacer then you would have needed 3 of those gaskets I assume?
