well its time to get new tyres on my mini, and im seriously considering going for some 12" or even 10" wheels if i can do it cheaply, i just cant decide what to go for! I definately want something matt black again i really like having matt black wheels, very easy to keep clean! haha
I was thinking maybe of some 10" wellers or something, powdercoated black again, what do you think??

It wouldnt necessarily have to fill the arches because im changing them soon anyway! I want to keep the wide look and the handling, but after driving a mini with 12's on it makes a big difference to turning at low speeds and silly things like parking!

If I were you I'd change the 7x13 to 6x13s.

This will solve all the problems you have but keep your car looking as good as it does.

the euros would probably dwarf them tbh.

Personally i don't think the wellers would look right, but then again, I don't like wellers lol.

the rims on it do look "right" imo, i think Wil h's solution might be the best.

I wouldnt go 12's either stay 13's or go 10's.

Why not go 6x10 minilights in mat black

I think this is one of those threads that drags up all sorts of personal preferences.

Me. I run 6 by 12's with yokahama A048 tyres, have not yet found the limits of them on a road, and like the planted look it gives my car.

I felt 10's wouldn't suit my car.

Thats my 2 pennies worth.

I'd go with what you feel suits YOUR car.

feeble-ster your wheels look ace but.......12's are defo the best comprimise for a road car, i run 10's cause i like the 60's-ish look, i've ran 13's & loved the grip but as you said parking was a shit!

deepdish 6x12s in the mat/satin black would look/fit under your arches i reckon

SKYLINES ARE LIKE CLITS, EVERY FLANGE SEEMS TO HAVE ONE: see this sticker on my silvia

the Search-section on this forum is blummin superb & simple to use, unlike some other forums, without the search-section & the help of this bunch of chaps on here i'll never be able to !!!Start the day with a 998cc turbo!!! :) i'm getting closer though!

Oooooooooooft! Those slot mags are rather tasty.*wink*

6x12's are prob a good compromise, see if you can trial fit a set to see what they look like with your arches?
