Got the car running ok.
Went for a run, which was fun :)but very stiff ride.
Anyway, as i put my foot on the clutch to drive off.
the clutch pedal kind of got stuck down.
so had to tap it hard 2 times to make it come back up.
Is There a problem learking ? should i re-bleed the clutch of what?
Part from the noisey 23 teeth drop gears lol it's fun :)

Cheers..

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

it will be partially siezed between the clutch arm where it goes into the cover
use some freeing oil there and pump it up and down

I've had that happen before, but only when I've left a car standing for a long time without use - the clutch plunger just got stuck in the wok. Did you grease up the plunger, arm, pushrod etc...?

I found the problem.
On the slave cylinder, you have that rubber seal thing. well that was off, so i placed it back, and about 10 minutes of driving, the clutch got stuck again.
then i found the rubber seal come off again, so done this a few time, and same thing happend. why would that seal keep coming off ?

Cheers.

thats just a dust i think, it shouldnt effect the operation of the clutch to such and extent i wouldnt have though?

not really, maybe a little grease to lubricate the pin, but if theres a far bit it sounds as though the seal might be leaking fluid?

is it clutch fluid or oil?

It's a verto clutch..

It's fluid.
It only gets stuck as the rubber comes off. what happens is, as the rubber comes off, and i place my foot down on the pedal, it gets wedged. it has been greased etc..

Cant work out why it keeps coming off.
Odd

Cheers

Hi,
If it's brake fluid there's probably pressure building up behind the dust cover until it blows off.
You'll need a new slave cylinder if that's the case.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Right, I had mine do this, and I think I know what it is now.

Have a look at the bracket which the slave cylinder is attached to - I bet the third bolt (the one that goes into the side of the wok, rather than the top of the bell housing) has either come loose, or fallen out and the bracket has bent. This means your slave cylinder is able to push the pushrod further, it comes out at an angle and gets stuck.

Take the slave cylinder off, and fix that bracket down properly and all will be hunky dory.

Do you mean this where the arrows pointing to ?

Think it needs some washers underneath to rise it up abit, as what you said is true, the pushrod is at an angle and gets stuck *surprised*

Cheers.

Yeah, if the pushrod is coming out at an angle, whack a couple of washers under there until its straight.
