i wouldn't have thought quality could vary a great deal, but i'm no expert! do hose companys like samco offer some kind of guarrantee/warranty, i'm thinking not but somebody should know, and if they do, ask the ebay company if they do the same |

i use these guys alot, theyre good quality, cheap and arrive really quick

Thanks gents, I did read that thread Rob, How quickly do the ones from hong kong arrive? are we talking days or weeks? Going to need them pretty soon? If theyre gonna be a while I might have to bite the bullit and go samco (EEK!)

Might be placing an order later this evening then, be good if they arrive this week, getting to a stage where im waiting on parts at the moment.

Yeah I was the same when I used them... 3-4 days from Hong Kong and decent quality hoses aswell Edited by hughesmarkie on 30th Mar, 2008.

Can you use 6mm vacuum hose for boost pipework to the actuator, or is it not reccommended?

should be fine, vacuum hose is stiffer so it doesent suck flat. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

Any Ive seen, has been crap that splits very easily. It looks thick, but is not strong at all, and splits very easy. All the larger boost hoses, are of re-enforced construction. 9.85 @ 145mph

Well, I placed an order with Itune07 shortly after starting this thread, a parcel arrived in good time but they had mixed my order up, spoke to the chap on the phone and he got them out the next day, and refunded the postage. The hoses are good quality, they are "silicon hoses.com" brand, quite impressed with them for the money, shame about the mix up, lol
