i wouldn't have thought quality could vary a great deal, but i'm no expert! do hose companys like samco offer some kind of guarrantee/warranty, i'm thinking not but somebody should know, and if they do, ask the ebay company if they do the same

Can you use 6mm vacuum hose for boost pipework to the actuator, or is it not reccommended?
Cheers

should be fine, vacuum hose is stiffer so it doesent suck flat.

I would not use the thin silicone coloured hose for ANY important application.

Any Ive seen, has been crap that splits very easily. It looks thick, but is not strong at all, and splits very easy.

All the larger boost hoses, are of re-enforced construction.

Well, I placed an order with Itune07 shortly after starting this thread, a parcel arrived in good time but they had mixed my order up, spoke to the chap on the phone and he got them out the next day, and refunded the postage. The hoses are good quality, they are "silicon hoses.com" brand, quite impressed with them for the money, shame about the mix up, lol
