mine went quiet when it failed, it jsut stopped! lol

72.5 psi? Don't quote me but sounds like an injection pump at that pressure. Can the regulator cope?

Unless its meant to be 7.25!

Aldershot (we are top of the league, say we are...)

yeh that is just the max pressure, if you look at the sytec pump that has a max pressure of 7 bar, which off the top of my head is about 75psi, aslong as the pressure regulator is returning fuel to the tank then the fuel pressure will stay at 4psi above boost before or after the pressure regulator.

It is an injection pump afterall *wink*
The pressure it runs at on the car is controlled by the reg, put a 3bar reg on and you'll have 3bar fuel pressure.
