Ive personally not had any experience with these, a search didnt reveal the answers I was needing. Firstly do they come in piston and diaphram type? As I take it I wuld be neding a diaphram type. Secndly, where does the recirc air go back into the Inlet tract? Can any one recommend one, thinking forge?

You would vent the air into the intake pipe before the turbo, after the filter.

Forge make them, or Turbosmart make some really good ones.

yeah, just like the 20vt vag setup. If you want to try it out you can get cheap plastic bosch ones for about £8. They are the diaphram type. |

ARe the piston type versions of these usable, or do they suffer the same seal swelling issue as the atmospheric ones?

The standard Sierra Sapphire Cossie ones (2WD and 4X4) are the Bosch plastic recirculating ones and often come up cheap on eBay as the boy racers get rid of them to fit atmospheric dump valves instead. Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

Peugeot 2.0 T stuff also uses the Bosch plastic recirc dump valve, I bought one recently for another project for £6 off ebay.

Is a recirculating dump valve the same as a supercharger bypass valve? both work on manifold vacum don't they?
