Yes, off boost all turbo cars are effectively naturally aspirated.

the fuel return is on the regulator, not the carb

i thought that because the reg works off the pressure from the plenum, that i would not be able to use it? is it just a case of opening up the adjuster on the regulator then?

Hi,
No, just set it a 3.5 psi fuel pressure and you're done:)
Cheers,
Gavin :)

thats it, there is no boost so the regulator wont add any extra fuel pressure. you can just block the boost reference pipe from the regulator off. i've done it on a few occassions where i had to run NA due to turbo issues etc

It'll be the standard 1275 (mg metro) mech pump. For now, doing a conversion, but my hif44 needs a rebuild, so got a turbo 1 ready for the conversion, and would like to use it. Anything special need doing to the extra hose holes? (excuss my dumbness)

I guessed as much, Im just a little dumbed by the connections. I mean theres LOADS of FQA pics showing them on a turbo setup. But nil showing how to plumb up on an NA setup (without FPreg) I would ask for a graph, but look what happend last time LMAO

just plumb it the same as a turbo carb, the FPR is connected to the plenum.

just connect the fuel in and blank off everything else for a simple start.

Massive bump!

glad I found this, I'm sick of my webber, and it making far too much noise compared to the gains it see's over the old hif44, so I'm ditching the 45 and sticking on my new turbo carb, I don't fancy driving all the way to the ring again in september with the webber!

your driving to nurburg in september? i am too! is there a mini event on? AND if your running the turbo carb NA dont forget to change the needle to a non turbo one cause it will over fuel mid/high rpm?
