I personally do.... But not to actually put any tension on the chain... It's there and fitted just enough to take out the slack from the chain... On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

I have a duplex chain and sprockets off a 1275 A series can I fit this to my turbo motor, if so can I use the existing simplex tensioner ? BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

I've used tensioners on Duplex setups several times. But no engine were ever delivered with a tensioner and a duplex setup. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

I also used the tensioner on my setup, I have the Kent Cams silent chain kit which has a chain that comprises of "W" shaped links instead of "0" shaped links and rollers.
