hi guys, mite sound a random question but when my car is at idle the needle on the boos guage jumps around alot, as soon as you give it a bit of throttle it's ok, is this normal? also i have got quite bad clutch judder, its not the crank seal as this is new, i did fit a new ring gear could this of made everything out of balance?

cheers tim8-)

How smooth is your idle ? If it's very erratic it could cause the needle to jump.
What clutch plate are you running ? Have you changed this when you changed the ringear ?

Did you just use the standard plate before ? If so, you'll find the AP Rally/Race plate a little more "aggressive".

i had this, you need to get a t piece with a restrictor in it to run to the gauge. Smoothed mine right out.

yeh i dont rly mind that but i think its more somthing in warped or out of balance as its wort of an actuall judder through the engine.?

it was part of a t piece, i had it knocking round the garage, i think it came with an autogauge boost gauge. I've only got the one, otherwise i'd pop one in the post to you.

If you drop them a mail from their website, they may send one to you. :)

Hi,
A nozzle from a mig welder or a Weber carb jet should do the job *wink*
