ok soooo... i spent a few car restoring the car and moding a few bits! it's has no engine.. i am looking in to various engines at the min... not to sure what i want.. i hope to be pointed in the right direction!

Probably. haha ... ok ... yeah i was never a big fan of body kits on minis... apart from the zeemax one.. the back end is custome to fit exhaust.. this is a 6 year project so far.. done so mcuh to it.. and it use to be red.. but after i crashed my other car (that i was about to turbo.. about 2 days later) but thats another story! thats why i went back to my mini! i thought to my self.. ok if i was going to to it.. i am going to do it the right way .. and that included a kit.. just because i had seen some really nice (and sh*t) turboed minis with kits! like i said i did have a T3 but sodl it... it was not in the best shape and a sat for a while! sold it on ebay! for about 150 quid... and then i got a e-mail saying he used a recon kit on it and now gets 145BHP at the wheels on his mini!... gutted! :(

Looks nice indeed but I would be scared to layer such nice paint on a mini. It could turn to brown crustyness in a short time! On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

My other car was lead wiped (well bits of it anyway) and it lasted well. But that wasn't a mini! Lets put it this way, I painted my mini brown for a reason. But hey keep it garaged and it should be OK. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

looking good lots of hard work gone into it by the look of it.
no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Ive done a fair bit of body work and it looks spot it to me mate.

meaning.. most of the filler was then sanded back.. don't bare metal.. and then refilled.. i was working hard did not have time to get many pics... as it progressed in these areas.. lots to do! but thanks for the nice comments .. i have had a long think and a chat with some mates... 1 is mega in to turbo cars... and the other in to turbo minis.. and we think we might come up with somthing... prob somthing along the the lines of 1380 with T2... i amnot 100% on turbos... so i leave that bit to them!.. and work on the gearbox and engine! (apart from the turbo)
