Accelerator linkage on carb

Hi everyone not sure what ive done wrong here put im putting the carb back on to my mini and the accelator linkage is fowling the inlet manifold so there isnt enough throw to open the carb the plastic gasket is still on the inlet maniflold well i think its that, and the bracket for the accelerator is the otherside between the carb and the nut which holdsit on if that makes sense i presume this is the right way round as i cant see the bracket going on before the carb as i dont see how it would seal what have i done wrong can anyone help thanks

It seals because you use 3 gaskets...

I actually have a similar question..

Does the bracket "plate" go on the manifold side of the spacer or does the spacer go next to the manifold, then the bracket then the carb?

Since the rebuild its not quite as good warm starting and I was wondering if the bracket (which has a heat shield mounted to it as well) being near the carb was causing more heat to get to the carb after leaving it sit for a while..

Thanks Milamber id forgoten to use the acclerator cable bracket which ment the though extra mill caused the throtle linkage to foul the inlet manifold
