Good Day All.

I am trying to find data regarding the Water & Air Temperature Sensors.

Well more to the point the following sensors.

Air Temperature Sensor: NNK10001 or ELMWOOD ES110-1.
Water Temperature Sensor: ADU7161 or Lucas 73246A.

Can you help me?

Thanks for your time.

I'm using the data for a Bosch sensor with my air and water sensors and they seem pretty close.

http://www.bosch-motorsport.de/pdf/sensors...ure/NTC_M12.pdf

I think that they are all NTC 2.5 kOhm sensors, so will have a resistance of 2500 Ohm at 20 Deg C.

Hi,
Welcome to TM :)
I think Paul's about right on this, but the curves are slightly different.
Realistically speaking unless you need the exact right temp reading on the screen it doesn't make any difference as you'll set it up to the value displayed on the screen even if it's a couple degrees out from the real world.
Just check the resistance @ 20degrees to see if it's going to be close *wink*
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Mad Prof,

Just realised that your the guy on the MS forum who has just got the 36-1-1 flywheel trigger working.

Tell us a bit more about what you are up to.

Thanks for the welcome and the quick replys.

Paul S: I am just replacing the stock rover MEMS ecu with a megasquirt, as the mems was giving alot of problems.

I have been working very closely with James Murray (jsmcortina) who writes the MS Extra code for MegaSquirt.

There are a few little bugs that still need to be worked out, but I am happy with how things are going, so much so that I am now happy to start tuning the engine.

As long as I am happy with all the readings from the sensors today, and can get a nice stable idle, I will be tuning MegaSquirt on the rolling road today.

Can you please tell me if the below power is right for the "12A2EF77" Engine.
Power at fly: 63.0 bhp @ 5550 rpm.
Torque at fly: 70 ftlb @ 3000 rpm.

If all works well I will post up how I got on some time tonight.

The power figures look about right. Certainly 63hp is quoted by the factory.

SPi engine - right?

Good luck on the rolling road.

As this seems to be heading off topic I have started a new post with regards to me MegaSquirting the SPi mini.

Mad Prof.

I generated two resistance curves for the Rover Green (AIT) and Brown (CLT) sensors when Phil Ringwood built my MS ECU.

If you still want the curves, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send them to you.

Unfortunately, I can't post them up at mo but if you want to do that, its fine with me.

Richard.

Hi guys.

Just sent the Excel file to Gavin for posting up.

Didn't draw the curves, assumed you'd just want the raw data.

Plus there's a comparision of the new Rover AIT & ECT Elmwood made sensors with an old Rover AIT and a new ECT sensor made by another supplier.

Happy days.

Hi guys.

Temperature sensor resistance profiles have been posted by Gavin to the following link :

http://www.teamtorque.co.uk/pics/sensorprofile.xls

Hope they help.

Was searching for the ES110 datasheet.
You can get it from Honeywell.
Go to
http://sensing.honeywell.com
and make a search for es110
You should find the page
http://sensing.honeywell.com/index.cfm?ci_...=1&pr_id=145675
Then click on Documentation on the bottom, Documentation page and get the Product sheet.

PS: the ES110 is actually identical to the Bosch temp sensors, I just compared numbers.
