before the post whores reply with "try the search" i have and there is lots of info but not specifically to what im after.

obviously 8mm ID feed and return is bestist, but, on my old n/a setup i used 6mm ID stainless braided hose and have ample surplus of that still new that I could use for one length of the car.

So if i get some new 8mm ID and my current 6mm ID, one of each, which would I use for the feed and which for the return? its just to reduce my cost on fuel line as I have a load spare and brand spankers sitting there.

also, i previously experienced a fuel leak from the 6mm ID hose where it connected to the HIFF 44, isnt 8mm just going to increase this problem?

From what i can work out you want a lower pressure for return
so 8mm for return and 6mm for feed.

Correct me if im wrong

Turbodaves link explains it.

cheers jordan, i'll stick with the 6mm feed, i dont see the point in using an 8mm feed if the fuel entry point to the carb is less than that as thats the bottle neck.

i have a facet red top pump, is there a "prefered" regulator to use with that or stick with the metro turbo one? something like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=280226245824

Dont use a red top. You want a roller vane fuel pump.

Hi,
I'd use the metro reg, I think a brand new one from MS is only £35?
Cheers,
Gavin :)
