surrey / ewell area.

I have been informed by an engine builder that it is better to use a pre a plus clutch as u have more options to upgrade? if so can i keep the verto slave?

by pre A+ he means pre verto,

but yes on both counts.

You will need the pre-verto clutch arm though as its longer.

I switched to pre verto on my metro trubo A+ engine and its great. You do need to get the extra long arm as Jay says.


It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt... Then it's hilarious!

I didn't think you could keep the verto slave...

But yes, with the help of others I did this a couple of weeks ago. Way better than the metro verto setup.

How bout just losing the bracket the slave cylinder sits on rather than changing the arm that would get rid of the need for a longer arm?8-)

I think you'll need the leverage of the longer arm to operate the stronger clutch.
