Ive just got back from work this week to find an envelope.

In this letter i found a piece of paper,

Written on that piece of paper was a confirmation that i have been nominated for "Apprentice of the year award" by the head internal verifier of my training council.

Dont know what this means but basically, i get to go to collogne for an award ceremony.

It was all a bit of a surprise to be honest. When me dad said "guess what son, you've been nominated of the year" I burst out laughing.

I think its because the jobs in my portfolio are very spread out and varied, as we get alot of contract work and one offs.


Just thought id let you know, as im buzzing.

I'm an apprentice too and I received a letter as well this morning.
Unfortunately it says if I miss college once more without a valid reason I'll get kicked out.

Well, Its got even better lads and ladettes.

But

A week in cologne!!

Went to a breifing for the trip today and theyre sure packing a tight schedule.

It ranges from meeting the mayor of cologne, going to the major power station, Going to Autohaus Fleischhauer which is basically porsche VW and Audi, going on a boat tour on the rhine and on the last day.....i cant hold it in, we're going to the nurburgring.
This is just a selection of whats written on me sheet but what caught my eye.

Theres no mini shows between the 18th and 25th of august is there. Id hate to have to choose. *wink*
