to clear up i have...

standard metro turbo ignition stuff....

i changed the front subframe and when i put the engine back in it wouldent start. after a few hours of trying i found that i had got the 2 wires from the moduel both on the negative side of the coil (thanks to me not following colours and believing i know best*tongue*)
any who when this was sorted it fired up straight away and all was well, left idleing for about 20 mins then turned off when i came back to it a few hours later it started and ran for about 5 mins and then stalled and refuses to start. there is defo fuel but the is NO spark.
i have changed the following with no results..
HT lead
moduel
rotor arm
dizzy cap
i tried another coil i have in the garage but i am not sure what kind it is, it does say electronic but does this mean its sutable for electronic ignition?
there is a good 12v at the + side of the coil untill i conect ther moduel or the HT lead then it drops to below 3v but i dont know if this is right?
the voltage at the coil stays below 3 when turning over too.

sorry if i have gone on a bit but i wanted to make sure everything was clear:)

and before anyone says anything i really cant afford megajolt right now:(*tongue*

thanks for any help.

Hi,
Try running a 12v positive wire straight to the coil, sound like you've got a bad connection on that one as it's dropping down to 3v *wink*
Cheers,
Gavin :)
