very adventurous there Paul , but don't you use a timing chain tensioner.??.

and if youv'e beaten some aluminium into submission to create the rear of the smiths gauge then you need your head looking at, not just because it shows dedication , but you could have had a piece spun up in a matter of minutes,lol, well done all the same

That would have cost me money and besides that, the speedo bacing isnt actually round.
