Do I block both pipes off or shall I connect them together so it just bypasses it?

Anything I have to do to the electrics or just unplugging it fine?

Cheers

Hi,
Both pipes? I though there was only one pipe and a meshed grill on the other end of the valve, or am I thinking of something else?
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Just had a look the other pipe just leads down near to the gearbox and is open so blocking this would do nothing! should have looked before posting sorry.

Will block off the pipe coming from the carb

yeah, there's only one pipe. Don't get that confused with the balance pipe. I don't have the link to hand, but turbodave put together a really helpful thread on carb connections. Think it's in the FAQ or beginners tech section.
