anti-clockwise for more boost.

try 1/2 turn at a time 'til you know how much effect it has.

am i right in thinking that the it is basically (and i am talking basically) a screw/bolt acting as a variable restriction. so the more restriction the more boost as the wastegate will be seeing less of the actual boost pressure?

so basically the tighter the screw/bolt is in the hole blocking it off the more boost you will see?

i also heard about a ball-bearing somewhere down the line.....could anybody please shed some light for me *tongue* haha

Hi,
Nope it's a variable bleed off so it works the other way, you open the restriction to bleed off more boost to stop the actuator opening.
The ball bearing ones have a spring so you don't loose boost by bleeding it off you alter the spring pressure which alters when it sends pressure to the actuator *wink*

Gavin :)

:) got it. so you are basically opening the size of hole in the pipe going to the acuator.

i get the ball bearing one now enal *happy* woohoo

Hi,
No you're opening the size of the hole to fresh air, that lowers the pressure in the actuator pipe, which stops it opening *wink*
