is this cam any good will also be using double valve springs

my set up is
12g940 head
t2 turbo
standard 998 rockers
and cosworth intercooler

Hi,
It might be a bit too much cam for a 998.
I think people use the MG Metro N/A cam or the Kent equivalent.
A 998 expert should be along shortly

We have run the avonbar phase 2 in the 998 and it was rubbis. Made the power, but so hig up the rev range it was awful to drive.

Stick with the kent 500 or MG metro. We have 155 bananas and its drivable.

Whats the Avonbar Ph 2 like in a 1293 then? Thats what i've got, will try it but just want to see what ppl think about it from experience?

Should be better in a 1275, more engine cc takes the "cammyness" off it a bit.
It will still be a little lumpy around town though.
Usage of the car is an important factor in cam choice

rich mini turbo send me some pics of ur interior it looks awsome also i thought that that cam would be good cause of the size of the head i am using ok so what is the mg cams markings also would the turbo one be better?

Just stick with the NA MG metro cam for a safe bet. After that you are experimenting.
