Guys,

I am wondering if I can ship my mini to the states in a 10 foot container ?

Now I now the car length quoted in haynes is 120.25 inches for a saloon and the inside length of the container is 111.8 inches.

My car has been debeaked and deseamed at the rear, so no bumper, and I have a fibre glass front end which I can take off, so the front of the car will start at the very front of the front sub frame.

Unfortunately I am in the US and can't simply measure the thing so could some one who has bumpers tell me the measurement from the very front of the front bumper to the front of the front subframe at the centre of the car please ?

and also from the very rear of the rear bumper to the start of the hinge panel, (not the seam) please ?

BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

Dave,
you are really pushing it - there is no room for movement in a 10ft container....
I'd seriously consider Ro-Ro - ing it to your door. You can set it up so no docker can have fun with it first LOL!

Yeh I had planned on adjusting the waste gate to the fully open position, choking the air filter, and losening the throttle cable lol
