By new switch do you mean flasher unit?

you can try joining the wires on the flasher unit to see if that is the problem or not.

When I had this problem, I cured it by replacing the fuse box.

Your fuse may be OK but the boxes corrode.

Get a new fuse box from Minispares.

tis a new fuse box already. Someone has suggested the hazard switch might be knackered causing the probelm.

Replace various components with wire one by one until the lights come on.

If you bridge the relay out the lights should stay on. Are you getting 12V at the relay for the indicators? Check the connections at the stalk connection also (Power supply to stalk switch and continuity accross switch).

relay? wasn't sure that there was one, i thought it was just fused. if there was one and it was not working then surely the hazards would not work

I mean flasher relay/unit *wink*. If your bridge it with wire across the 2 wires the indicators should stay on.

Is there an inline fuse aswell? Can't remember now?

hello
in the manual it says a live wire goes to the hazzard switch first then to the flashed unit might be the switch

all fuses have been checked, have checked hazard switch by bridging the top two connectors, the indicators work, so i can only asume the switch is ok.

I do not have a live feed to the flasher unit or the indicator stalk, I have put a direct live to the flasher unit and the indicators work. any thoughts. I will try and get a hazard switch today

Hi,
If the wire going to the flasher unit is green it should be live with the ignition on.
If so the green comes direct from the fusebox.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Have you checked the in-fuses on the bulkhead in the engine bay?
