I am planning on mounting my turbo over the flywheel housing on a 1098. I noticed that this will put the slave in close proximity to the exhaust side of the turbo… Has anyone had heat problems? What are some possible solutions? Or will it be ok? Do they sell a small hydraulic throw out bearing conversion? Pictures of your solutions are always welcome…

If you completely clean out your old slave, master and clutch line (or replace them) then couldn't you use dot 5 brake fluid? It has a boiling point of something like 500degrees F

on the janspeed ones didnt tthey relocate the slave behind the engine and use a long push rod to actuate the clutch?

How does that work....does it use a cable?

Does anyone have pictures a a Janspeed setup...it seems to similar to what I was going to try and do.

Hi,
There used to be some pictures on here somewhere. You could also try exhaust wrap to keep the heat down.
