my car has the t3 turbo fitted to it which i dont like,too much lag etc,so what turbo can i fit to it,what price will i pay,what mods do i need to do,cheers

The world (of turbos) is your oyster.

To decide on what turbo is for you needs a bit of thought.

there is a great guide on how to choose a turbo here http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarre...ech_center.html

However, there are some popular choices, namely: T2 from an R5 turbo, T25 from various cars, GT15, GT17, some IHI turbos that I am less familiar with.
You need to consider how a different turbo will fit to the manifold and then you'll need to make an elbow. and of coures, it'll need oil feed and returns.

Hi,
The T series is getting a bit long in the tooth now, the GT1752 seems really popular on 1275s
It all depends on how much boost you want to run and what you want to spend.
R5 T2 up to 10 psi, T25 Rover tomcat or certain Nissans 10+ psi and so on...
