workin on my motor getting some good progress, tubbed arches, 2 new rover sills, welded up old aron the car as best ih mounting holes & i was grinding them flat & my grinder just caught up & i have a 3 inch slice across my hand ABOVE MY THUMB!!

i did the same last year with an angle grinder and wire wheel attachment....was funny cos it just went numb...trying to get it done in time for riv run...i did make it in the end too which i was glad about

theres a load of crap in it, all the grinding dust was in the glove, my sis is a nurse (slow down chaps) so she'll have a look & maybe wack some butterfly stiches on it, just chucke wich hazel on it, i need a brandy now! lol its a bit deep one end the cut, about an inch, then the rest is a good errrrr scuff haha

I know the mini is important but a bad infection would halt progress alot more than getting it sorted NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really hope you are back in action soon -I,ve done this before myself and it takes ages to heal.I use heavy duty gloves now !.At least is sounds minor compared to a mate who was using one under the car, with the switch locked on, and dropped it on his face.Took 18 months in plastic surgery. |
