Had the same discussion with powder coaters yesterday. Matt is 30% gloss, Satin is 60% gloss & Gloss 90% gloss.

lmao cheers, i think its going to end up being matt black! i have been looking arround for some paint and it seems to be really really cheep compared to satin and gloss. =/ Drives

matt is a dull finish with no sheen, satin is a dull finish with sheen, and gloss is all sheen

just painted my car inside & out in satin & it looks SHITE!!! wish i'd have gone matt! :(
