how much of a hassle is it to change from an mpi cooper sport to the metty turbo.whast involved,clutch wise,wiring,and just everythin really oculd really do with some help did do a seach couldnt find anythin cheers

If you have a newer mini...emissions might be an issue. Other than that...very simple.

Hi,
You'll have to start by cutting a big hole in the bulkhead and then weld a box in.
Then you'll need to rewire the engine bay.
You'll need to fit a fan sender to run the rad fan.
You'll need to remount the heater as the original mounts won't be there anymore.
Clutch might need the arm on the wok changing but that's it.
You'll need to sort out the alternator mounting as it'll hit the rad.
You'll need to change the rev counter if running the turbo engine with a dizzy, maybe the temp gauge too.
When you've got it in and running you'll need to prove to the MOT tester how old the engine is otherwise it will fail the emissions test.
