Hi,
I've not got any technical details, but it probably can, the thing is the flow rate at that pressure may be next to useless :(
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I'm sure I read somewhere it can only do 20ish psi, making it unsuitable for anything over 15psi of boost and obviously no good for an injection turbo.

This could be bollocks though.........

Ive heard 1bar of fuel pressure, although thinking about it, it could of been only good for 15psi of boost because of the fuel pressure being 3.5 psi above boost pressure *oh well*

I would go for another aftermarket injection pump. Plenty on the bay for reasonable money.

I see Demon Thieves sell 3.5bar internal pumps, is it possible to upgrade an SPi setup with one of these? Also Merlin list an uprated pump for the SPi.

Hi,
They must put out more than 1 bar as that's what the system is regulated to and they'll always be fuel returned to the tank.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

It's an easy job to convert the SPi pump to a higher pressure jobbie:

Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."
Stephen Hawking - "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge."
