Hello all. Today being a heavy handed dope i sort of broke my oil feed pipe lol. now with a big kink and a nice hole its mullerd.
What i want to know is can i get another oil feed pipe preferably braided and with new banjo fittings and washers etc but without paying daft money that avonbar and the like want. or failing this is it poss to buy just the said banjo fittings etc as i maybe able to source a braided line elsewhere.
Thankyou, any help greatly appreciated.

i am not sure the solid line ones are available anymore so 50 quid for a braided one seems like a good price to me.

I found in my installation(non-mini) I could just use the ends of the original turbo oil feed pipe and add flexiblein the middle.Any firm in the Yellow Pages under Hoses should be able to do this for a lot less than £50

Are we talking about the turbo oil feed here, or the feed to the filte from the pump?.Banjo fittings from the same source in Yellow Pages -just take the broken bits along and ask them what they can do - really !

buy a braided one, best thing you can do, imo its not worth making 1

i personally dont see a problem with the 55 quid

not sure what you want us to say?

you can prob get all the bits individually, and the hose made locally alot cheaper than avonbar, but it sounds like you cant be arsed?

either get out the yellow pages and do some homework, or pay the 50 notes

I got my hose made up at a place called flexolite in my village. He specialises in classic cars and so long as you can tell him exactly what you want over the phone, im sure he will be able to supply you with one. Best thing about it is that they charged me £15 for it. Top notch braided hose too.

Here is a link to their contact details: http://www.classic-car-directory.com/parts...84&cat=atoz.asp

I'm actually going down tomorrow to get some new hoses for my oil cooler.
